Stellato & Schwartz, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of three new associates, who are recent admittees to the Illinois Bar: Jeremy S. Macklin, a graduate of John Marshall Law School; Matthew D. Rose, a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law; and Jordan M. Tank, also a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Polsinelli Shughart PC congratulates Paul A. Jenny and Jeremy S. Unruh who were elected to shareholder status effective November 1, 2010, the start of the firm’s new fiscal year.  Both practice in the Chicago office of Polsinelli Shughart. Paul A. Jenny, who was promoted from associate to shareholder, is in the office’s Business department.  He is a registered patent attorney focusing on the fields of life sciences and biotechnology.  He is involved in patent prosecution, opinions, client counseling and patent licensing matters.  Jenny holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina, 2001. Jeremy S. Unruh, who was promoted from associate to shareholder, is in the Trial department. He handles business and commercial litigation matters.  Unruh's commercial practice includes general banking litigation, shareholder valuation disputes, internal fraud investigations, and white collar criminal defense. He holds a J.D. from Washburn University, 1999. The promotions are part of the continuous growth of Polsinelli Shughart.   Nationally, the firm elected 17 attorneys to shareholder status in Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis and Phoenix. With more than 18 years of experience, Pratt defends construction defects, products liability, auto liability defense, premises liability, personal injury, errors and omissions, contract, and real estate claims in both Illinois and Missouri.

Ms. Williams focuses her practice on advanced planning and family office matters, which entails serving as a general counsel to corporate executives, private business owners, professional athletes, and high-net-worth families and their family offices. Her areas of focus include the analysis, design, and drafting of advanced estate-planning trusts and structures, as well as corporate and closely held business structures, transactions, and agreements. Ms. Williams also works with nonprofit organizations on matters including formation, registrations, gift acceptance policies, financial investment guidelines and audits, and risk committee guidelines. She also is trained to mediate disputes between two or more parties in a number of areas, including disputes involving business partners, civic and religious organizations, landlords and tenants, and family members.
