Pilgrim Christakis Promotes Matt Stromquist to Partner

Matt StromquistPilgrim Christakis LLP, a financial services litigation boutique based in Chicago, has announced the promotion of Matt Stromquist to the firm’s partnership.

Stromquist is a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried cases in state and federal courts around the country, as well as a skilled appellate advocate. He represents banks, mortgage servicers, credit card companies, auto finance companies, and other financial services providers in a wide array of individual and class action litigation.

He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Hoshyer Foundation, a charity that funds and promotes the education of girls in Pakistan.

Earlier in his career, Stromquist served as a clerk for the Hon. Michael W. Farrell of the D.C. Court of Appeals. He received a B.A. from Haverford College, an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a J.D. with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Iowa Law Review and recipient of the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award.
