WHAT: The installation ceremony and swearing-in of First District Appellate Court Justice Sanjay T. Tailor as the newest Illinois Supreme Justice for the First District.

WHY: Justice Tailor joins the Supreme Court following the retirement of Justice Mary Jane Theis.

WHERE: Friday, January 30, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park.
