ARDC Offers Alternative to Malpractice Insurance

On May 28th, 2026, the ARDC released the new PMBR (2026-2027) Self-Assessment Program for attorneys who do not maintain malpractice insurance. This cycle consists of four interactive modules on a variety of topics from legal marketing to effective client communication.  Each module is 60 minutes in length, free and available for Illinois MCLE professional responsibility credit.  While the PMBR Program is a 2027 registration requirement for some Illinois attorneys, it is available to all Illinois attorneys for up to FOUR hours of free MCLE credit.
