Illinois State Bar Association Announces COVID-19 Programmatic Interruptions
The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) has created an informational page about the impact of COVID-19 on ISBA meetings, events, and programs.
While developments related to COVID-19 continue to unfold, the ISBA is monitoring a variety of sources, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Cook County Department for Public Health, for the latest updates.
The ISBA will share information and update the COVID-19 informational page as need be. Currently, the ISBA is taking the following actions:
ISBA Business Meetings
From now through April 30, 2020, all ISBA business meetings will be conducted via conference call or video conferencing. Any questions regarding remote attendance should be directed to the section council’s or committee’s staff liaison.
From now through April 30, 2020, all in-person ISBA events have been canceled or postponed until further notice.
ISBA CLE Programs
From now through April 30, 2020, the ISBA will not be providing live in-person programs. All live on-site CLE programs will be canceled, postponed, or delivered as webcasts or webinars. Please check the ISBA website for the current status. All impacted participants will be notified directly.
