Robert John Connor was born October 6th, 1952; died November 15th, 2024; the sole child of Robert Emmett Connor and Lorraine Rita Hinske Connor, both deceased. He was a lifelong resident of Chicago; and for many he was a well-respected and beloved colleague, mentor, and friend.

Throughout his distinguished career, Steve has been a cornerstone of the area’s legal community, providing experienced counsel and dedicated service to both clients and colleagues. His contributions have been invaluable to the clients he’s supported over the years and to us at SRNM the last few years when he joined the firm as a partner in 2022.

Katherine passed the bar and is licensed to practice in Texas, with licenses in Illinois and Missouri pending. Katherine will have a general practice with an emphasis on litigation.

Beloved husband of the late Ann Fitzgerald Geiman; loving father of J. Robert “Bob” (Sara) Geiman, Jr., William Patrick Geiman and Timothy Michael (Allison) Geiman; proud grandfather of J. Robert “Bobby” Geiman III, Sophia Suzann Geiman and Luke Michael Geiman; and caring brother of the late Nancy Lou Pope. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, private services were held at Saints Faith, Hope and Charity in Winnetka, IL.
