ISBA President James F. McCluskey, a founding member of Momkus McCluskey LLC, will join the 18th Judicial Circuit Court as an associate Judge.
The firm will now be known as Momkus LLC. Founding partner Ed Momkus will continue to lead the practice, which offers legal services in a variety of fields including business law; commercial and civil litigation; appellate practice; estate planning, trusts, and asset protection; family law and divorce; and insurance litigation and coverage.
Mark Goldenberg, a founder and managing partner of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C., based in Edwardsville, has been appointed a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness for the 5th District of Illinois.
Effective immediately, his term expires Dec. 31, 2018 and until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. As a member of the 11-person committee, Goldenberg will help evaluate the moral character and general fitness of applicants to practice law in Illinois.
Norman Just Fombelle, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018.
He was born Aug. 2, 1936, to Hubert and Lucille (Hayes) Fombelle in Decatur and raised on the family Centennial farm. He graduated from Argenta High School in 1954. On Aug. 6, 1955, he married Virginia “Ginger” Joy Montgomery. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in AgEcon in 1958, and from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1960.
Michael J. Cronin, 57, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. He was born Feb. 2, 1961.

Richard Fiocchi was named president of the Bureau County Bar Association at the July meeting of county lawyers.
At the meeting, Fiocchi appointed Bureau County Assistant State’s Attorney Donna Engels as secretary of conflicts.
William J. Knapp, 58, of Edwardsville, died Thursday, Aug. 2. He was born June 20, 1960.
He was an attorney with Knapp, Ohl, & Green in Edwardsville. He was the son of Jane (Johnston) Knapp and the late Bill L. Knapp.

Cruz’s practice includes representing individual guardians and financial institutions in adult and minor guardianships. She also represents clients in trust and estate administration matters.
She is often appointed as Guardian Ad Litem by Cook County Probate Division judges to assist them in adult and minor guardianship matters. A native Spanish speaker licensed in Florida and Illinois, Cruz has worked alongside attorneys in Havana, Cuba, representing Cuban national beneficiaries and is currently the president-elect of the Hispanic Lawyer’s Association of Illinois.
Thomas Arden Tyler Jr., 67, died Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born Oct. 3, 1950.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Jacqueline (DiVecchio) Tyler; his two beloved sons, Zachary Thomas Tyler and Jacob Grant Tyler; his sisters-in-law, Janet DiVecchio and Judith (James) Ramsay; niece and nephews, Jamie (Ric Horejs) Ramsay, Jason (Julie) Ramsay, and David Frogge; and his faithful fourlegged dachshunds, Loki, Kaiser and Heidi; and his cat, MooMoo.
He is also survived by one uncle, Richard (Dorothy) Tyler; and numerous cousins.
Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. announced today the firm has moved Chicago office locations from 22 West Washington Street, Suite 1600, to a new headquarters located a few blocks away at 161 North Clark Street, Suite 4700.
The move more than doubles the firm’s previous office footprint of 8,800 square feet to more than 18,000 square feet.
William S. Dickenson has been selected as an associate judge of the 21st Judicial Circuit.
He is currently affiliated with the Kankakee County State's Attorney's Office. Dickenson received his bachelor's degree and law degree from Indiana University.
