Irshad will work with Partners Frank A. Johns and Layne C. Marino in handling litigation and transactional matters for business clients.
She is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. After law school, she worked as a judicial clerk in Iowa and at the city of Chicago Law Department.
She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Iowa.

Kelley Kronenberg, a nationwide full-service law firm, has announced that Richard Flood has been promoted to an Attorney with the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Flood was formerly a law clerk with the firm, and will focus his practice on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Act and the Defense Base Act (DBA).
In 2012, Mr. Flood published “Inferring Race by Using Ancestry Informative Markers: (AIMS) as a Forensic Technique in the Courtroom” in the Criminal Law Bulletin. While in law school, he worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jeremy Fogel of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
Mr. Flood received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Louisiana State University. He then obtained his law degree from University of California, Davis. While in law school, he served as the Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Journal. Richard Schmack was elected DeKalb County State's Attorney on November 6, 2012.
Richard received his undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science from North Central College in 1977, his J.D. from the University of Illinois Law School, in 1980, and has been an attorney in Illinois since that time. He was an Assistant State' Attorney in DeKalb County from 1985 - 1989, served as the Village Attorney for Kirkland, and has been in private practice since 1989 in Sycamore.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the DeKalb County Bar Association.
Richard and his wife of 27 years, Jackie, live in Sycamore with their two adult sons, Eric, 25, and Ben, 23. -
