The Illinois Bar Foundation hosted its 2024 Lawyers Rock on March 7, 2024, at Bottom Lounge, 1375 W Lake St, in Chicago.
Proceeds of this concert fundraiser benefited the statewide programs of the Illinois Bar Foundation as well as the juvenile justice causes supported by the M. Denny Hassakis Fund.

The 41st Annual Illinois State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Invitational took place on March 16-17, 2024, at the Public Affairs Center at the University of Illinois in Springfield. Fifty high schools throughout Illinois participated.
First place went to College Preparatory School of America from Lombard.
Second place went to Stevenson High School from Lincolnshire, and Maine South High School from Park Ridge received third place.
The Civility Award recipient was Niles West High School from Skokie.
The Donna E. Schechter Memorial Law Test Award recipient was York Community High School from Elmhurst.
The ISBA Standing Committee on Women and the Law celebrated International Women's Day, Women’s History Month, and the accomplishments of women in the legal profession over afternoon tea at the Loews Chicago Hotel, 455 N Park Drive, on Friday, March 8, 2024.

The ISBA Young Lawyers Division hosted Speed Networking and Wine Tasting events on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the ISBA Mutual Office, 20 South Clark Street, Chicago. Young lawyers, newly-admitted lawyers, and law students had the unique opportunity to be mentored by a myriad of prestigious lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals from all over the State of Illinois discussing a variety of topics such as landing their first job, different career paths, and ISBA membership benefits.
On Feb. 22-26, 2024, ISBA President Shawn Kasserman and his wife, Dawn Kasserman, hosted members and guests for opening weekend of MLB Spring Training at Sloan Park in Scottsdale, Arizona. Events included a Mexican themed food and beverages Welcome Reception, the Opening Day Cubs vs White Sox Game, the Cubs vs San Diego Padres Game, and Wrap-up Party at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, 6902 E Greenway Parkway, Scottsdale.

The IBF’s Champions Breakfast was held on December 8, 2023, in conjunction with the ISBA Midyear Meeting, honoring Judge Celia Gamrath with the 2023 Distinguished Service to Law & Society Award as well as the law firm of Stephan Zouras LLP with the 2023 Honorary Champion Award.
