Myles L. Jacobs, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with his loving daughter and grandchildren at his side.
Myles was born in New York City, the son of the late Julius and Frieda (nee Gieber) Jacobs. He was a longtime Joliet resident, residing the past year at Senior Star in Romeoville. Myles was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged with the rank of first lieutenant. He received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., and his law degree from New York University School of Law.
