The Candidate Report for the 2021 ISBA Election is below. All members of the association (except non-lawyer members) with their dues paid by March 1, 2021 are eligible to vote.

The deadline to submit nominating petitions for the ISBA election is Monday, February 1.
Members of the ISBA will elect a third vice president (outside Cook County) and one seat each for the following Board of Governors seats: Area 1 (Circuit 18), Area 6 (Circuits 7, 8, and 9), and Area 8 (Circuits 3 and 20). There is also one Board of Governors seat in Cook County. There are 26 open seats for Cook County Assembly.

Campaign season for the 2021 Illinois State Bar Association election began October 1, for open leadership seats of third vice president (outside Cook County) and one seat each for the following Board of Governors seats: Area 1 (Circuit 18), Area 6 (Circuits 7, 8, and 9), and Area 8 (Circuits 3 and 20). There is also one Board of Governors seat in Cook County. There are 26 open seats for Cook County Assembly.
Shawn S. Kasserman has been elected Third Vice-President of the Illinois State Bar Association. Julie A. Johnson and Stephen M. Komie won the Cook County seats on the Board of Governors; and Jennifer A. Haase won the Board of Governors seat for Under Age 37 Cook County.
The polls for the ISBA election closed on April 30 at 4:30 p.m. Results will be made available on May 4.
Only attorney members who paid their dues by March 1, 2020 were eligible to vote.

The deadline for voting is Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. Central Time for all voting methods: e-ballot, paper or internet.
